Today the MCPE developers succeeded to surprise us all greatly and to be frank, not fully in a pleasant way. They announced the release of Minecraft PE 1.16.10 where they inserted an announcement that older devices won’t support new game versions anymore. Only after several hours, hoping to cheer us up a bit, they released another version, this time Minecraft PE 1.16.20.54. Unlike the previous version which was a full one, this is a beta, so remember to prevent your friends who use full versions and play in Realms that you won’t be able to join them while trying this update.
By installing 1.16.20.54, you can discover the following changes:

• A fixed crash that used to occur when using an emote to play and suspending your play
  
• Tweaked animation of the arms of several mobs, namely the Vindicators, Piglins, and Brutes
  
  
  
• Equipping an emote without unlocking it first won’t be possible anymore
  
• Fixed custom skins on multiplayer
