The hard-working MCPE developers released Minecraft PE 1.16.20.52 only a few days ago but since after its release more bugs have been detected they could not leave them unfixed so they developed one more beta called Minecraft PE 1.16.20.53. Let’s see what changes it contains.

This time most of the developers’ work has been done in relation to some problems affecting the user interface:

• From now on, you wish to see the tooltip name of a selected recipe ingredient, hover with the controller over it
  
• Starting with the current beta, a recipe select button message will be displayed if you will hover over an item from the recipe book that cannot be crafted with the controller
  
• Even if no recipe was selected, you can hover over any recipe with the controller to see it in the crafting grid
  
• In the same way, that is by hovering over a chosen recipe from the book, you can unselect it and vice versa.
  

In addition to these changes related to the user interface, there were several bugs that had to be fixed too:

• A crash happening when using high-resolution resource pack loom blocks
  
• Chunks getting one hundred percent air as a result of upgrading the legacy chunk
  
• PS 4 users not being able to host more than five players (now the max number is eight)
  
• The /clear command not removing blocks that have identical names if there is no argument introduced
  
• Piglins and other Nether mobs spawning with weapons that are not enchanted
  
• The Hot Tourist Destination prize not getting unlocked even if the user meets all the requirements (this bug affecting only the PS 4 players)
  
• Impossibility to properly place a beehive or a bee nest after updating
  
• Broken trading screen slots (this bug affecting only the iOS players)
