This time, Mojang added an incredible number of new features, but also made a lot of changes and fixed many problems.
The newly introduced features are magnificent, making the Nether even creepier but at the same time more interesting to explore. Starting with this beta, in addition to the things you already saw before with the appearance of Minecraft 1.16.0, aka the Nether Update, you will also discover:

• The Basalt Delta which is actually one more Nether biome which is no less terrifying than the rest of them
  
• Blackstone which is a newly introduced block and can be found in large quantities in the biome mentioned above. Players may use it to craft different things. The Blackstone blocks come in different variations.
  
• The ability to climb on the twisting vines that can be found in the same biome
  
• Generation of gold ores in the Nether
  
• Lodestones which are also new and useful blocks
  
• Anchors for respawning, helping the player set respawn spots in the Nether (in our opinion, a very useful feature)
  
• Striders are new neutral mobs. They can be used to ride on top of the hot lava.
  
• Zoglins are also new mobs, but extremely hostile.
  
• Soul Speed Enchantment helping the player run very fast
  
• Ruined portals that not only look very picturesque in the Nether but may also contain crying obsidian blocks.
  
• More scary sounds for the Nether biomes
  
• Three new songs
  

Are you as excited as we are about the above-listed features? We are sure that you want to see them for yourselves as soon as possible, but let us remind you that there are also several changes, some of them done in relation to the mobs’ behavior, others in relation to blocks, but the most important changes will be seen when playing in Realms because the Operator players will have more rights to kick, ban and remove other players.
And finally, we cannot skip the fixes because the MCPE developers worked really hard to remove them so we can have nice and smooth gameplay. The most noticeable errors could be previously noticed in the failure to show specific notification on iOS devices, players losing their experience every time the game is reloaded, Iron Golem’s incorrect walking animation, smooth quartz having a wrong texture.
